Experiencing the Holy Spirit |
Mary & Jono Turner | The Holy Spirit can tend to be the neglected person in the Trinity. While it is Jesus who saves us, it is the Spirit who leads and sustains us. This course will seek to give you a Biblical understanding of the place and presence of the Holy Spirit with an experimental emphasis. (Mary and Jono Turner are well know church leaders, they minister internationally with YWAM). |
The Life of Jesus
|
Nigel Dixon |
We understand the death of Jesus better than the life of Jesus! This course is an introduction to the gospels with a focus on what Jesus was doing in His ministry on earth. There has been a great deal of significant writing seeking to understand what Jesus was doing in His ministry. The intertestimental period will be overviewed as well as the structure and message of the four gospels. |
Community and Conflict Karen Kemp Christian community is a great blessing but
sometimes it can go wrong. We can, sometimes naively, expect the church to be pristine and perfect. This course, based around Matthew's gospel and the corinthian correspondence, explores some of the messier elements of being the church. It will seek to develop the way we approach and resolve disagreement and conflict.
