Romans Paul's Mission Theology Cost $80 |
Rob Yule |
Rob Yule sees Paul's letter to the Romans as much more than an outline of Christian doctrine, as it is often treated. Written in the form of a Hellenistic letter-essay, and dealing with many contemporary religious, moral and cultural issues, Rob sees the letter to the Romans as Paul's missionary manifesto, expressing the vision and message of a world-class missionary statesman. Firmly rooted in God's dealings with the Jewish people, and reaching out with God's concern for the Gentiles, Romans present Paul's missionary message of the good news of personal salvation and cosmic transformation revealed in Jesus, the Jewish Messiah and Saviour of the world. |
