Nigel Dixon
Nigel Dixon is a life coach, husband, father, and bible teacher. He loves exploring scripture and culture and the challenge that being Christian poses in a post-Christian world. He has published a book, “Villages Without Walls”, on this topic. He now runs a life coaching/supervision and training business called Vox Humana, and writes a newspaper column on fatherhood.
Nigel was a committed part of church unity in Palmerston North for 20+ years and has taught in a wide range of denominations, networks and nations.
Nigel and his wife Carolyn moved to Tauranga in 2021 where Nigel has taken up the position as Vicar at Holy Trinity.
Chris Saunders
Chris Saunders is an Anglican priest who has worked in Wanganui, Palmerston North, and Timaru, with a brief spell in The Gambia. He is married to Kaye and they have been involved in the Charismatic renewal and faith sharing teams in NZ and England. They have two adult children who live in Wellington.
Chris has lectured at Aoraki Polytechnic, Timaru in Church History and Biblical Studies. He has studied at Massey, Auckland and Otago Universities and has an M.Theol from Otago.
Rob Yule
Rob Yule is a retired Presbyterian minister, who studied at Auckland, Otago and Edinburgh Universities. He was Chaplain at Victoria University in the 1970s, a leader in charismatic renewal, and pastored churches in Hornby Christchurch, St. Albans Palmerston North, and Greyfriars Mt. Eden.
Rob lectured in the former Manawatu Branch of the Bible College of NZ and on mission trips to the Czech Republic. Interested in Jewish-Christian relations, he helped found the NZ Branch of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem and Prayer for Israel NZ. He and his wife Christene have five children and 16 grandchildren.
Alan Frost
Alan Frost is the husband of one wife, father of two grown children and a local church pastor. He originally hails from the UK but has lived in NZ since he was nine, which pretty much makes him a fully-fledged Kiwi.
He is particularly interested in exploring what the New Testament teaches us about God, about the kingdom and about life in general…..and how this impacts our faith and praxis in the 21st century.
Adam Dodds
Seminar on Islam in 2021
Dr Adam Dodds was Senior Pastor of Elim Church in Dunedin for over 10 years, where he subsequently became the Teaching Pastor. He has a PhD in the doctrine of the Trinity and mission from University of Otago, and two Masters degrees in theology from the University of St. Andrews (Scotland) and Princeton Theological Seminary (USA). For two years he was lecturer at the University of Otago’s theology department where he taught Doing Theology and God and Ethics in the Modern World. Adam has been a student of Islam for 20 years, has taught seminars on Understanding Islam from a Christian Perspective nationwide, and is part way through studying for a Master’s degree in Islamic Studies through Melbourne School of Theology. Adam has published books and articles in missiology, the Trinity, and Islam.
